These terms apply to the Paperly application and to this website. By using Paperly, you agree to them. Related privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Paperly is provided for personal and professional document management. You agree not to use the application for any illegal activities or to scan documents you do not have the right to possess.

The documents you create, scan, edit, annotate, sign, or export using Paperly belong entirely to you. You are responsible for the content of those documents, including OCR output and signatures you place on a page.

The Paperly application, including its UI, logic, and branding, is the property of its developer, Sahil Naikwade. These terms do not transfer ownership of Paperly to you. They license you to use the software as distributed.

As an offline-first app, most features are available without an internet connection. We reserve the right to update or modify app features at any time.

Users scanning sensitive identity documents (for example, Aadhaar or PAN cards) are responsible for their secure handling. Paperly is an offline tool, and you are the sole custodian of any data scanned.

Once you share or export a document from Paperly, you are responsible for its security and privacy on the destination platform (for example, email, WhatsApp, or cloud storage).

Paperly is distributed through the Apple App Store and the Microsoft Store. If you download or purchase Paperly through one of those stores, that store's terms, including any purchase or refund rules, apply to the transaction. This document does not replace those platform terms.

Paperly is an offline tool. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, or app uninstallation. Users are encouraged to back up their exported PDFs securely.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
